About Me
About Me
I am a senior Geography major at UCLA with a minor in Geographic Information Systems & Technology. My academic interests focus on spatial analysis, environmental systems, and the application of GIS to real-world problems, with particular emphasis on invasive species dynamics and wildfire processes. I am especially interested in combining technical GIS methods with field-based observation to better understand landscapes and human–environment interactions.
Field Experience & Observational Learning
In addition to coursework, I have participated in several course-based field experiences that emphasized observation, spatial context, and environmental systems in practice.
Course-based field observation at Sedgwick Reserve, focusing on invasive species presence and soil conditions.
Observation of animal behavior in captivity, examining enclosure design and visitor visibility.
Aquarium exhibit design observed during course field visit, highlighting spatial constraints and human–environment interaction.
